Local and National Implications

Local and national implications are rural areas that live too far away from the telephone exchange so they can’t get broadband. This is due mainly to costing a lot of money to lay the cables for a small number of customers, plus older people find it hard to cope with the new
technology and they wouldn't be able to work it. Therefor companies feel as if it would be a waste of internet and their time. Plus these people who live in Local and National implication areas, are missing out on cheaper economic services, as some companies offer internet goods that are cheaper than the original services. For example things like gas and electricity. One thing you should remember that internet is not free, and some families might just not be able to afford it.
